Bruce Bowering

IT Manager/Software Developer

Bruce is a Software Developer and IT Manager for WaikatoLink. His roles include undertaking application and web development, as well as managing WaikatoLink’s IT infrastructure. Bruce also has extensive knowledge in administrating and developing for Microsoft SharePoint. After returning to University as a mature student, Bruce completed a Bachelor of Computer Science and Mathematics and then his Masters which considered interfaces for managing large, location aware photo collections. Prior to returning to University and going onto work for WaikatoLink, Bruce’s background was in sales and management and continues his interest in music as a life student of the guitar.
